Mollusks & Shells
Mollusks and shells are common items found in the beach. Before this assignment, I didn't know what mollusks were. Mollusks are clams, snails, slugs, or octopus. They are found in the beach because they wash up to shore and like to live buried in sand and dirt. Shells are the remains of these animals, and are sort of like a crust that surround these animals.

My Thoughts and Reflections
Our project was a success and a failure at the same time. Its successful because it is fully edited and not only looks good, but has a lot of information. It was a failure, though, because there was not enough info and at times the information was entered at the incorrect time or was just incorrect altogether. Not only that, but there would always be one of us who did not finish his work, so we'd all get low grades.
Pollution
Again and again, the subject of pollution has come up various times. Pollution is bad because of many reasons; it damages ecosystems, animals, enviornments, habitats, nature, and the air. Not much can be done to reverse the effects, because pollution doesn't alway occur in small amounts. The pacific garbage patch is a perfect example of this. To fix pollution, we should not only stop polluting, which is very hard to occur, but we should research and find new ways to fix the mess that we made.

My Favorite Thing
My favorite assignment by far was using the iPads to draw. It was fun, productive, and educational at the same time.

Another thing I learned
Last week, I had the chance to work with Doodle Buddy. Doodle Buddy is a fasinating application that allows users to create drawing, labels, and anything of that sort. Not only is the experience of drawing on Doodle Buddy easy, but if you don't have any more time, you can save the photo to the photo album or you can send it to your e-mail. The drawings you make on Doodle Buddy can be further enhanced with a tool named "Smudge." This tool creates a mixture of different colors and can help make amazing landscapes, such as creating the different colors in oceanwater. With Doodle Buddy, many things can be completed.
iPads
Using iPads i class has revolutionized the way that students work in class. Not only does the ease of having technology in your hands rewarding, but the low price and efficiency also makes using iPads in class a good idea. Using the iPad and Doodle Buddy, me and my group members have learned how to create drawings, label items, and even editing the website on the iPad. If I could choose another way we can use the iPads in class, I would say that we should use the iPads to create notes for our websites that we could publish, leaving reminders for group members to do assignments.
What I Learned
So far. I learned how to check the water for turbidity, pH, etc. I also learned how to make a website, how to add bookmarks, and how to make a slide show, all in google. Finally, I learned how to use an iPad to draw and edit the website we are making.
